I received the following email today with information to pass on to the members of our post.

 

I would like to invite all the members of the Post, their families and friends to the First United Methodist Church’s Night to Honor dinner on 10 November.

Our church has a heart for the military, veterans and their families. The NTH Dinner is one of the ways our Military Ministry expresses that heart for the congregation. The Dinner is a semi formal affair with linen table cloths and China plates yearly on the Friday closest to Veteran’s Day. The evening features posting of the colors by a Revolutionary War era color guard, POW/MIA table and acknowledgement, entertainment by a local quartet, all highlighted by a guest speaker. There is no charge to the 230 or so veterans, their families and friends because the church and sponsors fund the evening.
We do need each person to register for the dinner on the FUMC web site.
