Today,May 30th, I received a request from a Richard Riggins.  I am placing his messages here in hopes that someone here can assist him with his wishes.

My dad Ray Riggins was 365th transportation specialist 5 with 3 tours. Met my mom in the army and been together 45 years.  I wanted to let y’all know my dad passed this mornin around 7am.   He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last Thursday.  His ribs spine and hips looked like swiss cheese then 3 days later had a massive brain breed and the surgery was gonna make him a vegetable if he even made it. We never even had time to put a ride together because we thought we was goin for treatment plan from team at Vanderbilt and he went terminal within days. to get a former affiliated organization or someone to come through during visitation with some bikes for my dad and family bein it happend so fast I couldnt even put a benefit ride together.  I just want a ton of bikes to roll through roselawn cemetery next Wednesday 3pm-7pm go to the back where my family is barried and roll back up front. If people wanna stop to pay respects they’re welcome but not expected to. If we could make this happen i would be so honored to have y’all do that for my family let alone my dad. Thanks and God bless.

P.S. would also be an honor if some vets could be pallbearers (6 total) so my “brothers” can stay seated with me and my family.
So sorry this all happened so fast. You can reach me at 615-608-8893 thanks so much.

This happened so fast. Went to the VA today to get his dd214 to get his 21 salute and plaque for his 3 tours over his 10 years and found out since this happened so fast with his passing I may not have enough time to get the dd214 for the salute. It would mean so much for you guy’s organization to show and possibly have 6 vets carry my dad so my brothers can be with us and our loved ones. I completely understand if not due to the short notice.. trust me a week after diagnosis is unreal still but again thank you so much and for replying. Stay safe out there and have a good night.
