A Tribute to Women Veterans

Dear Commander, Staff and Fellow Veterans,

I hope this message finds you well.

My name is Angie Joseph, RN, Army Veteran, and Co-Founder of Hold Your Horses Wellness Farm in Christiana, Tennessee. Our organization is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of Veterans—particularly Women Veterans—through integrative, nature-based programs that foster healing, resilience, and connection.

I am writing to share a meaningful opportunity that may be of interest to the women veterans you serve. In collaboration with Misty Westebee Photography, we are launching a legacy initiative titled:

HONOR HER – A Tribute to Women Veterans

This project will feature professionally guided portrait sessions paired with personal narratives, culminating in a beautifully published coffee table book honoring Women Veterans across generations. Each participant will have the opportunity to share her story and be represented in this collective tribute.

The intention of this initiative is to provide a space for recognition, reflection, and post-traumatic growth, while preserving the voices and experiences of women who have served.

We would be grateful for your assistance in sharing this opportunity with eligible participants within your network.
